센텀이룸여성의원의 이 규섭 원장의 연구 논문인 "Role of visfatin in restoration of ovarian aging and fertility in the mouse aged 18 months"이 SCI급 학술지인 Reproductive Sciences에 게재가 확정되어 내년 초에 발간된다고 학회와 출판사인 Springer에서 최근에 보도했다.
비스파틴의 난소부전(조기폐경) 치료 효과에 관한 특허권자 (대한민국 특허청  특허 제 10-1912720호)인 이 규섭 원장은 임신이 불가능한 고령 생쥐의 난소기능 및 임신능력 회복에 있어 비스파틴의 긍정적인 효과를 세계 최초로 입증하였다.

이 규섭 원장은 지난 35년간 부산대학교병원 난임센터장으로 재직하였으며, 주 연구분야는 체외수정시술 및 고령 여성의 임신율 증진이다.
